My friend who is in some sort of law enforcement capacity I don't talk about on the web, was telling me that if you see someone buying a bunch of Sudafed, they're making meth. He was in line at Wal-mart behind some lady with twenty boxes of Sudafed. He told the cashier that it was illegal to sell that much antihistamine at one time. The lady was unconcerned. Another farmer friend says that their fertilizer tanks get hit quite frequently. Another sign of meth-makers. In that vein, check out The Arcata police log. I'd seen this a few years ago and had trouble locating it, but Metafilter found it.
Watching Nascar this weekend, how come they can fill a gas tank in 12 seconds and it takes so long at the regular service station. I'm going to open a gas station with that kind of pump. Also, a couple of years ago I got rear-ended and it took a week to get my car back. Yesterday, Dale Earnhardt Jr. hit a wall at 130 mph and they had him on the road in an hour. His whole car was messed up and mine was only the bumper. You'd think it would have only taken about 45 minutes to fix my car.
I'm still looking for a Byron Nelson ticket. Can you help? See next entry.
